The Federal Tax Administration has announced a new transaction notice in celebration of National Taxpayer Respect Day. Notice PGDAU No. 2/2024 offers negotiation proposals for debts up to R$ 45 million registered as federal active debt, including those under judicial dispute. Taxpayers can apply through the REGULARIZE portal until August 30th.

According to the notice, taxpayers can make an initial payment of 6% of the total debt, split into up to six installments. The remaining balance can be divided into up to 114 installments, with potential reductions of up to 100% on interest, fines, and legal charges, as long as the total discount does not exceed 65% of the debt.

For individuals, small businesses, charities, cooperatives, or educational institutions, the initial payment is also 6% of the total debt, which can be divided into up to 12 installments. The remaining amount can be divided into up to 133 installments, with the option of reducing up to 100% of interest, fines, and legal charges, provided this reduction does not exceed 70% of the total debt.

Additionally, Notice PGDAU No. 2/2024 offers negotiation proposals for debts up to 60 minimum wages and for social security contributions, which can be divided into a maximum of 60 installments.

These proposals apply only to debts registered as federal active debt and do not cover debts collected by the Federal Revenue Service or the Guarantee Fund for Length of Service (FGTS).
